Helen Dallimore was raised in Oxford, England and in Sydney, Australia. Helen Dallimore trained as an actress at The National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) in Sydney. Helen was first recognised while playing the role of 'Miss Adelaide' in 'Guys and Dolls' in a NIDA production.
Helen Dallimore was cast by the prestigious Sydney Theatre Company where she performed in shows including: 'The Unlikely Prospect of Happiness' and 'The Hanging Man.' Upton and Edwards, the writers of 'The Hanging Man,' created the central role of Simone for Helen Dallimore. This role was later played by Madonna in the West End production of 'The Hanging Man.'
In addition to an impressive stage career, Helen has also found success in film and television. She played lead roles in the films 'Mr Accident' and 'The Extra.' Helen Dallimore has starred in TV movies 'Day of the Roses' and 'Secret Bridesmaid's Business.' Helen has also appeared in television shows including: Flipper,' 'Home and Away,' 'and 'Midsomer Murders.'
Helen Dallimore played a role in the film Kangaroo Jack in which Wicked co-star Adam Garcia was the voice of the kangaroo. Helen also wrote and produced a short film in 1997, entitled, Eternally Yours. Helen Dallimore featured in the 2001 Hollywood re-make of the classic, South Pacific which starred Harry Connick Jr. and Glenn Close.
