Following on from the BBC Talent Search I'll Do Anything, the West End revival of Oliver will open at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane on January 14 2009 and, at Holiday Extras we've got tickets.

You can book tickets to see this musical as part of a Holiday Extras London Theatre Break from only £119 per person*.

As the search continues for the role of Nancy and the three Olivers, the role of Fagin will be played by Rowan Atkinson. Atkinson is well known for his roles in Blackadder and Mr Bean along with The Thin Blue Lines and a founding member of the Not The Nine O'clock News team. In 1981 he was the youngest performer to be given a one man show in the West End.

The revival of Oliver will be based on the Sam Mendes 1994 production that ran at the London Palladium, the production then ran for three years with more than 1,366 performances and a box office gross of more than £40 million.

Oliver will be directed by Rupert Goold and produced by Cameron Mackintosh in association with the Southbrook Group Limited. The show will open for previews from 12 December 2008.
