Footloose to return

It took what was thought to be its final bow last November but now Footloose is to return to London's West End for a limited run.

The Playhouse Theatre will play host to this toe-tapping musical from 17th August to 1st December 2007 when the show will make way for Tintin before returning from 28th February to 30th August 2008. With choreography by Karen Bruce whose credits also include Saturday Night Fever and Fame and a soundtrack that includes Holding Out For A Hero, Almost Paradise, Let's Hear It For The Boy and the title track, Footloose makes a musical extravaganza that will have you singing all the way home.

Footloose brings the blockbuster 1984 film strring Kevin Bacon to the stage. The musical follows city boy Ren who moves to small town America and finds music, dancing and anything remotely fun outlawed. It's not long before Ren has the whole town on it's feet and dancing with him - much to the disgust of the town council.
