Footloose leaving the West End

Footloose returned to the West End in August this year having previously bowed out in November 2006. Running until 1st December and set to return in February 2008, it has now been announced that the show will not return to The Playhouse Theatre as planned and 1st December 2007 will be the last performance.

The dance-fueled musical was due to return after a break to allow the theatre to accommodate Tin Tin and run until August 30th 2008. At Holiday Extras we will continue to sell tickets to this toe-tapping musical until Saturday 24 November 2007.

Footloose has choreography by Karen Bruce whose credits also include Saturday Night Fever and Fame and a soundtrack that includes Holding Out For A Hero, Almost Paradise, Let's Hear It For The Boy and the title track, Footloose: a musical extravaganza that will have you singing all the way home.

The musical follows city boy Ren who moves to small town America and finds music, dancing and anything remotely fun outlawed. It's not long before Ren has the whole town on it's feet and dancing with him - much to the disgust of the town council.

Be sure to catch this musical while you still can, book your Footloose West End Theatre Break today with Holiday Extras.
