The hit West End musical Chicago has been delighting audiences since 1997 and will celebrate a decade on London's West End with a special charity gala performance.
On Wednesday December 5th 2007 the performance will take place at 6.30pm and will be followed by a black tie reception. The special performance will include the original London cast members Ute Lemper, Ruthie Henshall and Henry Goodman along with Brenda Edwards, Jennifer Ellison, Duncan James, Frances Ruffelle, Denise Van Outen and many others. The evening will be sponsored by Gran Centenario with honorary patrons Elizabeth Hurley, Mr and Mrs Julian Kitchener-Fellowes and Andrew Lloyd Webber with the support of the show's producers.
All proceeds from the event will go to support Breast Cancer Haven and the Breast Health Institute.
This sensational musical follows chorus girl Roxie Hart who murders her lover and is sent to jail where she finds herself alongside her personal icon and rival Velma Kelly. As Roxie and Velma battle for supremacy of the prison and the newspaper headlines their smooth talking lawyer Billy Flynn battles to get them out of jail.
