Duncan James extends his stay in Chicago

Having stepped into the shoes of smooth talking lawyer Billy Flynn on July 2nd, Duncan James has announced an extension on his role - he'll be treading the Chicago boards until 8th September 2007.

Duncan James is perhaps best known as a former member of boy band Blue with whom he enjoyed many chart successes before embarking on a brief solo career which included a hit single with his cover of the Andrew Lloyd Webber song I Believe In My Heart from The Woman In White. James has also appeared on the television show Dancing On Ice and the subsequent tour.

Chicago currently stars Josefina Gabrielle as Roxie Hart, Amra-Faye Wright as Velma Kelly, Matthew Lloyd Davies as Amos Hart and Susie McKenna as Mama Morton. This sensational musical follows chorus girl Roxie Hart who murders her lover and is sent to jail where she finds herself alongside her personal icon and rival Velma Kelly. As Roxie and Velma battle for supremacy of the prison and the newspaper headlines their smooth talking lawyer Billy Flynn battles to get them out of jail.
