Festival for foodies in Bali
The Kayumanis Food Festival will take place on 2 and 3 May 2008 at the Gangsa Sanur, one of the Kayumanis group of exclusive holiday retreats in Bali.
Hosted by chefs from all four villa retreats, the festival will feature fresh island produce and creative culinary skills. Diners will eat in the garden decorated to recreate an authentic Balinese market.
Both evenings will include a performance of traditional music and dance and tables of two or more will receive a complimentary bottle of wine.
Tables can be reserved separately or diners can book the Kayumanis Culinary Journey Package. This includes a three night stay in a private villa or estate; one evening's dining reservation for the Kayumanis Food Festival with a complimentary bottle of wine; a two hour spa treatment and all other privileges from each property such as personalised Butler service, transportation within the immediate area, airport transfers, daily breakfast and afternoon tea.
The package for two people costs from US$ 1,255 at Kayumanis Ubud or Kayumanis Nusa Dua, US$ 1,510 at Kayumanis Jimbaran and US$ 1,033 at the Gangsa Sanur, plus taxes and service charge.
Kayumanis Jimbaran was included on the Condé Nast Traveler Hot List in 2007.
