Bmibaby unveils new Cardiff, EMA routes
Low-fares airline bmibaby has announced new services to Warsaw and Gdansk in Poland that will launch from Cardiff and East Midlands airports in 2008.
The operator, which claims to be the largest carrier in the Midlands and Wales, will start a four-times-a-week service between East Midlands and Warsaw on February 10th.
On the same date services to the Polish capital will begin from Cardiff and will run three times a week.
Routes to Gdansk will open on February and operate three times a week from the Midlands hub and twice a week from the Welsh capital.
Crawford Rix, managing director of bmibaby, said the new services reflect the airline's commitment to growth and represent the tailoring of its network to meet changing consumer needs.
"The UK Polish community is a modern day phenomenon and the new routes from East Midlands and Cardiff will provide valuable links for friends and family in Poland and in the Midlands and Wales region," he added.
"Both cities will also be really popular as short break destinations."
