KD Avia expands from Gatwick
KD Avia has announced that it will serve five extra Russian destinations from London Gatwick airport this winter.
From the start of the winter schedule the carrier will begin services to Orenburg, Ulyanovsk, Perm, Rostov-on-Don and Magnitogorsk.
It also flies to major cities including Moscow, St Petersburg and Volgograd and the winter changes will bring the total number of Russian destinations served by KD Avia from Gatwick to 14.
UK sales manager Loreta Durrell said: "We've significantly extended the range of destinations from 29th October 2007 and we're already seeing an increase in the number of UK originating passengers using our Gatwick service to reach more cities in Russia.
"Initially the response was mainly from the well-established Russian community living in London, but more and more business travellers are now using our services."
KD Avia flies three times a week from London using Boeing 737-300 aircraft.
Gatwick offers a number of airport hotels and parking facilities for the convenience of its passengers.
