South Africa resort makes it to 30
South Africa's oldest casino resort will this year celebrate its 30th birthday and look forward to new developments in the future.
The Mmabatho Tusk hotel and casino convention property was the first resort built by South African magnate Sol Kerzner.
Originally known as the Mmabatho Sun, it was renamed in 2001 and is set to receive another new title next year, along with a number of developments and refurbishment work.
Mark Jakins, chief commercial officer of the Peermont group, owner of the Mmabatho Tusk, said that a bright future is expected for the resort.
"Peermont has big plans, which include hotel rooms, restaurants and public areas," he said.
"This will ensure that the resort meets Peermont's exacting standards of world-class excellence in every way."
