KLM heads to Dallas
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines will begin operating a daily service to Dallas Fort Worth, Texas in cooperation with Northwest Airlines next year.
The airline will begin services to Dallas, its 61st intercontinental destination, on March 30th.
Peter Hartman, president and CEO of KLM, said: "Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex is an important business and leisure destination and is one of the fastest growing markets in the USA.
"For that reason we want to offer our customers another direct flight to an important growth region."
The service will depart from Amsterdam Schiphol airport in the morning to arrive in Dallas in the early afternoon, with the return flight leaving Texas two hours later.
Fort Worth will be the 19th North American destination served by the KLM-Northwest Airlines joint venture from Schiphol.
