Budget airlines polish up Polish flights
Holidaymakers looking to head to Poland will find they have even more choice in their flights soon, as 14 new routes open to the UK.
The eastern European country is fast becoming a hot holiday location as cheaper flights increase the numbers of tourists heading over to Warsaw, Krakow and other Polish cities.
According to research by foreign exchange firm HiFX, interest in Poland has been increasing month on month, especially with prospective homebuyers joining the holidaymakers in the country.
New flight routes are expected to launch in October and November, adding Bydgoszcz, Lodz, Poznan, Rzeszow and Katowice with Ryanair and Warsaw, Gdansk, Krakow with easyJet to the list of destinations.
However, Brits are warned that they should take advantage of the cheap transport links soon, as they may not be around for ever.
Mark Bodega, director at HiFX, explained: "Remember many low-cost airlines will have no problems pulling the plug on a service if they believe it is not making them any money.
"They can't afford to support an under-performing route."
