New Stansted-Munich link announced

Air Berlin has announced that it will begin flying from London Stansted to Munich from November 5th.

The airline will operate a twice-daily route from Monday to Friday and a daily service at weekends.

Titus Johnson, Air Berlin country manager for the UK and Ireland, said that the new connection is a significant addition the airline's expanding service from Britain.

"Munich is the ninth Air Berlin direct German destination from the United Kingdom and reinforces our position as the number one 'value-added' choice for travel to Germany," he said.

"This is an important new route which many of our customers have been waiting for."

The carrier also flies from Stansted to Berlin, Dusseldorf, Hanover, Leipzig, Munster, Nuremberg and Paderborn.
