It appears that LA is not the only city in America that Victoria Beckham is getting to know, as the former Spice Girl has been stepping out to enjoy New York fashion week.

Victoria certainly made the effort to go with the occasion, wearing two different figure-hugging dresses on the same day.

One evening she sported a purple and silver number by designer Marc Jacobs and was earlier snapped in a green and black dress.

New York appears to be the place to be for all style-conscious celebrities at the moment, with tennis ace Roger Federer, actor Heath Ledger, musician Sheryl Crow and Carmen Electra all getting into the swing of the Big Apple fashion parties.

The event covers a number of locations around the city, with shows taking place on Broadway, in Central Park and even in the public library.
