Bond actor's Italian break
James Bond actor Daniel Craig took a break from filming the latest instalment of the spy franchise to enjoy the attractions of Tuscany.
Hello! magazine reports that Craig and his girlfriend, Satsuki Mitchell, watched a bareback horse race while they relaxed in Siena.
The crew working on the 2008 Bond film might have been hard at work filming the bi-annual race, but Craig and his partner looked relaxed and comfortable while they enjoyed their short holiday, the magazine reports.
Many believe that the Palio di Siena is the most famous and spectacular bareback horse race in the world and tourists traditionally flock to the Tuscan town to watch the event.
However, Siena has many other attractions to interest holidaymakers. The Lonely Planet has this to say about the Italian city: "Its many reddish-brown buildings gave the world 'burnt sienna' and a thriving cultural scene was dubbed the Sienese school in the 13th and 14th centuries.
"Visitors enjoy the cafe-lined square Il Campo and the imposing St Dominic's Church."
