Bedingfield 'loves holiday romances'

Pop star Natasha Bedingfield has revealed that she loves holiday romances while she is on vacation.

The These Words singer revealed in an interview with Celebs On Sunday that she used to be partial to a summer fling while on holiday.

She explained: "I've had holiday romances … I met a really hot guy on the beach in Majorca.

"But you know how some people look better on the beach than in real life? I liked him so much, but then it all went wrong when he took me out in the evening - his clothes were very uncool.

"I'm not that fussy - men don't have to be super fashionable or anything - but he was so scruffy."

A recent report from Travelodge found that men typically spend just £101.25 buying clothes and beauty treatments before they depart on holiday. In contrast, women splash out £293.52 on clothes, shoes, accessories and beauty treatments.

At the time, Guy Parsons, Travelodge's chief operating officer, said: "These findings highlight just how much we are influenced by the celebrity culture. It seems that our holiday look is just as important as the holiday itself."
