The newest attraction at Port Lympne zoo, the African Safari Experience, recently had an impressive solid steele fence installed. A very necessary istallation, the 2 mile stretch of reinforced boundary is there to contain two of the most powerful creatures on the park.

Zambezi and Manyara are rare black rhinos, both born and bred at Port Lympne. With a combined weight of about 3 tonnes it takes quite a fence to dissuade these amazing creatures from venturing too far!

The Rhinos have since been enjoying their new 100 acre site alongside other native animals such as giraffe, wildebeast, zebra and ostrich. The African Safari Experience is looking like an unmissable addition to the attractions at Port Lympne.
