In time for the May Bank Holiday, easyJet is starting new flights from Gatwick and Manchester airports to popular holiday destinations in Spain, France and Greece.
The new flights from Gatwick airport are to the Greek island of Mykonos, Montpellier in France, and Ajaccio and Bastia on the French island of Corsica. The low fares airlines says that forward sales for the new flights have been strong and that it expects to carry around 107,000 passengers on the new routes over the next 12 months. Fares start from £47.60 including taxes.
The two new flights from Manchester airport are to Malaga, gateway to the Costa del Sol, and the perennially popular Greek island of Crete. The daily service to Malaga started on 1 May with fares from £49.99 return. The twice weekly (Tuesdays and Fridays) service to Crete begins today with return fares from £55.80.
"Mancunians can now take advantage of easyJets famously low fares to the summer hotspots across Europe, with the care and convenience when flying from your local airport, says easyJet UK general manager, David Osborne.
