This technology has been installed for the benefit of drivers and to ensure that when travellers leave their car at NCP Flightpath it is in a safe environment, with the very best security in place.
When the drivers reach the car park's barrier the car number plate is recognised, checked against a database of pre-booked cars and allows entry to the car park.
On exit the car park details are checked again and if the pre-booked time has over run the balance can be calculated and payment requested.
The system also counts the number of cars that enter and exit so that there is no chance of overbooking car parking spaces.
